Our Mission

Out of heartfelt gratitude to God, and in obedience to His covenantal calling (Church Order of Dordt, Article 21), believing parents have united to establish Pavilion Christian School. In love for their children and in the spirit of Philippians 2:4—“Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others”—they labor together to provide faithful, covenantal education.

At Pavilion Christian School, every subject is taught in the light of Jesus Christ. Just as the apostle Paul determined to know nothing among the Corinthians but “Jesus Christ, and him crucified,” so too our teachers aim to make Christ central in all instruction. This is because all things—visible and invisible, in heaven and on earth—were created by Christ and for Christ (Colossians 1:16).

Our students are engaged in rigorous academic study of God’s creation and providence. The goal of our instruction is to lead them to marvel at “the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God” (Romans 11:33), and to see all of life and learning as flowing from, sustained through, and directed to the glory of Christ alone: “For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory forever. Amen” (Romans 11:36).
